By creating a ChoreDash account you agree to these terms. ChoreDash is a household chores and rewards platform for parents and guardians to use with their children.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. Children never create accounts: a child profile belongs to the household and is managed by its parents. You are responsible for keeping your password and your children's PINs confidential.

2. Parental consent and your responsibilities

Before adding a child you must record verifiable parental consent as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm the information you provide is accurate, you review your children's content in the app, and you will revoke consent or delete a profile if you are no longer entitled to consent for that child (for example, a change in guardianship).

3. Acceptable use

Do not use ChoreDash to harm, exploit, surveil or coerce a child, to upload unlawful or abusive content, to add children you are not responsible for, or to attempt to access another household's data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and will report child-safety concerns where the law requires.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed by Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled from Settings. Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds follow Stripe's managed-payments policy and applicable consumer law.

5. Family Wallet and cash-outs

The Family Wallet is a record of money a parent has pre-funded to cover kids' cash-outs. ChoreDash is not a bank, does not hold deposits on behalf of children and never sends money to a child; cash changes hands offline between you and your child. Points have no cash value outside your household's own conversion rate. Card verification for parental consent is a $0 authorization and never results in a charge.

6. Your content and data

You own the content your household uploads (photos, voice clips, notes, messages). You grant ChoreDash a limited licence to store, process and display it to your household so the service works, including automated safety screening. You may export or permanently delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data; deletion is irreversible and we cannot recover deleted households, children or files.

7. AI features

AI-generated chore ideas, encouragement and summaries are suggestions only. Review them before relying on them; you remain responsible for what is assigned to your children.

8. Termination

You can delete your household or account at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms; where feasible we will give you a chance to export first.

9. Disclaimers and liability

ChoreDash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
