Parental Consent Notice

ChoreDash complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR's protections for minors.

Who creates child profiles

Only a logged-in parent (18+) can add a child to ChoreDash. By adding a child you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and you consent to ChoreDash collecting the limited data described in our Privacy Policy for that child.

What we collect from a child

• First name and optional nickname/avatar — chosen by the parent.
• Optional 4–6 digit PIN — used only for the kid login screen.
• Photos the child submits as chore proof — visible only to household members.

We do not collect a child's last name, email, phone number, precise location, or persistent advertising identifiers.

Parental controls

From the Kids page you can: review every chore, completion, message, and photo; reset or disable a child's PIN; export data; or delete the child profile and all associated data.

Withdrawing consent

Email privacy@choredash.app or delete the child profile to withdraw consent. Deletion removes the child's photos, points history, and activity within 30 days.
